Investor Alerts & Warnings
In the past five years, more that 50,000 people have invested in bogus financial scams and subsequently lost a total of over 1 billion dollars globally.
Fraudulent investment schemes plan and orchestrate their activities in such a way, that their bogus companies usually are mirrored on an image of a legitimate company. These fraudulent companies go out of their way to design their advertisement, which is often in local, newspapers, on the internet or through email and cold calling activities, in such a way that they appear realistic and creditable.
Their advertising design efforts are focused on delivering print material which is attractive and appealing to the potential victim.
In many cases they operated through call centers or serviced virtual offices. They offer exaggerated high short term profits and return such as 20 plus percent which is in excess to the realistic returns which are often around 4.9% to 8.9% p.a. Their reasoning is often focused on inside information in which they claim to have a confidential lead on. Often they market a fail proof system, which would not be effected by market down turns or recessions.
