The findings
Being to all these places, there is only one thing that the FLSS research group suggests and will help in: IT CAN BE DONE! The fight against the problem of poverty and solid waste management is not a one person struggle, it is a team effort. A fight that can and will be won if we worked together. Just like Talcott Parsons’ systems theory, a unit cannot function properly if all its parts are not working in harmony and consistency with each other. If the unit is not enough, there is always the chance of working with other units to get the job done. No group, team, click or any groups of people can be an expert in everything. As Mr. Christian PW Faust’s famous line goes, Horses for courses.
Funding is not the only means for this venture to take place; the desire of every Filipino to make a difference and be serious about it is also essential.
